Automation Manager (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze our Business Operations systems and processes, find what can be automated, and build and implement those automations yourself.
- Drive AI-based automation of order management and order processing workflows, from simple ETL pipelines to agentic integrations.
- Act as the central contact for all ERP-related digital initiatives, including our move from Microsoft Navision to Microsoft Dynamics 365, working closely with Business and IT.
- Develop and maintain interfaces (APIs and similar) between ERP, CRM (Salesforce), and other connected systems.
- Improve data quality through automated validation workflows and reduce manual effort across the team.
- Roll out automation solutions from Germany to our international entities and support the change management, so colleagues understand and adopt new ways of working.
- Report directly to the Head of Global Business Operations and work with a team of 19 colleagues worldwide.
- Support daily operations during peak periods, such as half-year and year-end closing.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience automating processes in CRM and ERP environments. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Azure, or the Microsoft Power Platform is a strong plus.
- Good understanding of ERP data models, end-to-end ERP processes, and how they connect to other systems.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs and system integrations, and using AI tools to make operations more efficient.
- A background in or good understanding of operational areas such as order processing, contract management, or customer service.
- A hands-on, ownership-driven attitude: you drive topics on your own and turn ideas into working solutions, not presentations.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent German and English (at least C1 level).
- Willingness to travel occasionally to our international locations.
- Hybrid work from our Munich office (ideally 2 days per week on site).
