Associate Business Consultant - Life Sciences Consulting in Berlin

The Role

We are hiring recent university graduates to grow the next generation of consultants through our Business Consultant Development Program (BCDP).

We believe in pushing high potential people to achieve excellence. Our program is specifically designed to provide a challenging environment to learn quickly and deliver value early. You will collaborate with experienced team members on customer-facing engagements to create high-impact business solutions.

In our structured 20 month program, we equip you with the resources to develop the core consulting skills, deep domain expertise, and leadership foundation for long-term career success at Veeva.

BCDP spans five core practice areas: Analytics, Commercial, Content, R&D, and Quality. As an Associate Consultant you will align to one of those practices, allowing you to build targeted industry expertise. You will be asked to choose your preferred practice in the application process.

What You'll Do

• Support and deliver all components of customer engagements (e.g., customer communications, workshops, stakeholder interviews, process and data analysis, managing timelines)
• Collaborate with Business Consultants to create deliverables that optimize customer operating and engagement models, processes, and business performance
• Leverage Veeva's software and data to pull through tangible business and operational solutions

REQUIREMENTS | We are looking for graduates who meet the following requirements:

• Desire to work within an intense, challenging program and environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A process-driven person who loves digging into operations, numbers, and other data to find opportunities for improvement
• Upcoming 2027 university graduate with strong academic performance
• Fluent in German (professional level) and English
• High work ethic. Veeva is a hard-working company

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of your time per year. Travel varies per customer engagement, coworking, internal meetings, and events with your team

THE PROCESS | Our process is different than most. It is designed to be fast, efficient and respectful. Here are the steps:

• Leader Interview: The next step is an interview with a leader of the practice
• Case Exercise: If we proceed, you will be invited to complete a case exercise within a week
• Offer: Within one week after completing your case exercise, we will extend you an offer or let you know that we do not wish to move forward. You will have two weeks to make your final decision. If you accept, we will hold a spot for you and expect you to show up on your start date. Accepting an offer and continuing to interview would be an ethical violation in our view

Compensation

• Starting Salary: 55,000 EUR
• After one year, if you perform well, you will receive a significant salary increase and be granted equity

Work Authorization: Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the European Union. Veeva does not provide sponsorship for employment visa status for this employment position.

Work Environment: Veeva is a Work Anywhere company. You can choose to work in an office or remotely from home on any given day of the week - it's up to you! Although Veeva is Work from Anywhere, Associate Business Consultants must live within a maximum commuting distance of 45 minutes to 1 hour from Veeva’s Berlin or Frankfurt offices.
