We are looking for a Facilities Manager to support a global provider of central laboratory services. The company partners with biopharmaceutical, medical device, and contract research organisations to deliver high-quality lab solutions across all phases of clinical development.
You will play a critical role in shaping and managing all local efforts related to facility improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day management of building operations, including team coordination, repair schedules, emergency support, and site inspections.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment by overseeing systems like alarms, access control, and surveillance, while ensuring safety protocols are up to date.
- Handle service supplier relationships, including contract terms, sourcing of external vendors, and ensuring services are delivered to required standards.
- Support planning and budgeting efforts by working closely with other departments to assess space usage, forecast future needs, and provide cost breakdowns.
- Identify and introduce improvements to how work is organised or delivered, helping teams make better use of tools, time, and resources.
- Keep communication flowing across teams by reporting updates, flagging issues early, and supporting internal processes related to buildings and safety.
