Supplier Performance Agent in Frankfurt am Main

Job Description:

• Lead visits to key supplier sites to identify performance issues and coordinate improvement plans, including purchase order alignment, process improvements, and quality system improvements.

• Expedite critical parts from key suppliers, remove roadblocks, and prevent disruptions to the production line.

• Work with suppliers to create and maintain a recovery plan back to purchase order (PO) requirements using aligned Lines of Balance (LOB), with daily follow-up.

• Work with key internal stakeholders to define a clear supplier intervention plan, follow up on actions, and ensure a smooth handover.

• Identify supplier improvement and risk mitigation opportunities and manage the related activities.

• Lead the execution of supplier performance improvement plans and work with internal and external partners to find solutions and close action plans.

• Partner closely with Procurement, Quality, and Operations to develop supplier improvement plans focused on quality, delivery, capacity, and process capability.

• Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on supplier support and improvement activities.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams and ensure issues are escalated appropriately.

• Conduct thorough onsite reviews of supplier capacity and capabilities, identify gaps, and establish clear action plans to address them.

• Manage your own business travel, including reservations, follow-up, expense claims, and financial reviews.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.

• Strong knowledge and experience in manufacturing and production.

• Experience working with sub-tier suppliers.

• Highly independent and comfortable working with new suppliers with limited information.

• Experience planning and coordinating projects involving multiple departments or business areas.

• Expert-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks at the same time.

• Strong sense of ethics and a customer-focused mindset.

• Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of operational and financial management is an asset.

• Understanding of the business relationship and dynamics between suppliers and Bombardier.

• Strong communication skills and good knowledge of BA systems.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
