Senior Security Engineer/ Analyst (m/w/d)

Your mission

As a (Senior) Security Engineer (m/f/d), you will defend our system on the front lines. You will report directly to our Head of Platform Engineering and assume responsibility for our IT security within our security team, primarily with the following responsibilities:

• You will support the Platform Engineering teams with regard to modern security standards and play a key role in establishing a DevSecOps organization.
• You will implement security best practices and support the product team and the development team with the implementation of security best practices.
• You will be responsible for various modern/regulatory security standards such as ISO27001, etc.
• You will continuously optimize our products/projects according to modern and legal IT security requirements.

Your profile

• You have relevant professional experience in the field of IT security.
• Ideally, you have programming skills and are familiar with cloud environments.
• You are familiar with security best practices: dependency and vulnerability testing, security by design, and testing technical security controls.
• You are enthusiastic about building and disseminating new ideas and projects.
• You are open-minded and enjoy raising security requirements and being challenged.
• You are able to communicate with both technical and business colleagues.
• You ideally have experience with scripting & programming languages like bash, javascript, python & go lang.
• You ideally have experience with the following tools: Gitlab, CI/CD, Linux Systems.
