API Engineer / Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Build and maintain robust APIs that connect our platform with external systems, ensuring data flows seamlessly and reliably.
• Design, implement, and document integrations with various data formats—whether it’s EDIFACT, ZUGFeRD, ebInterface, or other industry-specific standards.
• Enable efficient self-service integrations for our customers through world-class documentation, allowing them to seamlessly connect to their systems.
• Take full ownership of your integrations, from planning and architecture to testing and deployment.

Your profile

• You enjoy connecting systems, building robust APIs and integrations that enable seamless data exchange.
• You’re not afraid to dive deep into technical documentation and complex data formats (e.g., EDIFACT or XML-based electronic invoice formats like ZUGFeRD or ebInterface) to craft robust, reliable integrations.
• You love working cross-functionally, partnering with back-end, front-end, and third-party providers to deliver integrated solutions that delight customers.
• You write clean, well-tested code and maintain comprehensive API documentation so others can integrate quickly and with minimal friction
• You\’re fluent in English.

About us

VESTIGAS is a fast-growing startup offering a supply chain operating system for the construction industry. Our solution is the digital, independent and legally secure platforn for orders, delivery notes, and invoices. This will allow us to save >10bn € of costs and several million tons of CO2 in Germany alone. VESTIGAS has already partnered with 14 of the top 20 construction companies and 17 of the top 20 suppliers in the German construction industry. We have quadrupled our team in the last two years and are looking forward to pushing the construction industry to new heights!

We are an passionate team of 30 with a can-do attitude and strong action bias, working out ouf our beautiful office at Goetheplatz in central Munich.
