About Our Client:
VHR is hiring for a client that specializes in aircraft refurbishment, management, aviation consulting, and maintenance services. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual seeking a permanent position with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Aircraft Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing system modifications related to various aircraft systems, including:
- Supplemental Heating
- Equipment Cooling
- Cabin Humidification
- Soundproofing
- Oxygen and Smoke Detection
Additionally, you will contribute to modifications of aircraft structures and interior furnishings. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance, and Interpretations in the engineering output. You will also collaborate closely with the Engineering Team and external third parties.
Core Tasks:
- Developing Mechanical Drawings (2D/3D-CAD)
- Selecting equipment, components, and materials
- Preparing technical documentation, including reports, analysis, test procedures, and installation instructions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge in fundamental physics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, aerospace technology, and materials (knowledge of acoustics is advantageous)
- Proficient in MS Office and 2D/3D design software, such as AutoCAD and CATIA
- Excellent communication skills in English (French and/or German is a plus)
