Job Description
In this position, you will join a committed team of global mobility experts focused on all tax questions of German and international tax law. We offer a wide range of tax services to our clients and their employees.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- You will support our team of experts in providing tax advice to our clients regarding the secondment of employees, gaining insights into the tax and social security law support of expatriates.
- You will prepare income tax returns for individuals posted to Germany from abroad or who have been sent abroad from Germany.
- You will check tax assessments and prepare appeals and applications for the tax office.
- Implementation of technical issues such as automation within projects, e.g., on large mandates as well as for implementation projects.
- Correspondence with foreign companies is also part of your area of responsibility as well as participation in advisory meetings.
Qualifications
- You are studying economics or law with a tax focus or (business) informatics.
- Basic knowledge of income tax, double taxation agreements, and income tax.
- Analytical skills and enjoyment of working with numbers, good MS Office knowledge, the ability to work in a team, and an independent way of working characterize you.
- Strong communication skills and a good command of English round off your profile.
- The duration of an internship should be at least 8 weeks, preferably several months.
- The working student activity can be 10 to 20 hours per week.
