Investment Analyst / Associate

About the Company – Vidia is planning to recruit a capable, highly motivated Investment Analyst / Associate to further strengthen the team. This role shall provide a clear path for growth and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Taking initiative in sourcing/intermediary coverage
• Driving investment processes, collaborating in the deal team
• Extending a small, efficient, and highly capable team in all relevant aspects
• Support the deal leads on executing transactions, structuring / executing DD, negotiation of key contracts, holding and managing key external deal relationships (vendors, management)
• Managing the investment approval internally, including writing investment papers, and conducting business and financial analysis
• Appraising potential investment opportunities to the IC
• Overseeing the investments once completed and supporting in driving Vidia’s value creation agenda; designing and implementing initiatives and projects in collaboration with the team and portfolio company
• Building trustful relationships with sellers, management teams and other stakeholders

Qualifications – Up to 3 years of full-time work experience in mid-market private equity buy-out with a focus on the DACH region or the Nordics; additional/alternative experience from M&A advisory seen as a positive. As much an international mind-set as someone deeply rooted in the DACH region.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated self-starter mentality to independently design and deliver results
• Highly proficient in Excel-based financial analysis, including LBO modeling, with a strong attention to detail
• Strong team player – someone your colleagues want to work and spend time with
