Your Tasks
Advisory and Support:
Advise and train VIG Group companies, both Austrian and international, on IFRS interpretation and accounting matters
Proactive IFRS Development:
Monitor IFRS developments and prepare recommendations to ensure the timely and agile implementation of new standards across the Group
Governance Excellence:
Develop and continuously update internal governance documentation to ensure compliance with Group policies and maintain the highest quality standards in IFRS reporting
IFRS Project Management:
Actively contribute to internal and international projects with a focus on IFRS
Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive, audit‑ready documentation to ensure clear, transparent and compliant accounting practices
Financial Reporting:
Independently take ownership of selected tasks related to the Group Annual Report while applying your IFRS expertise effectively. In addition, serve as the key contact for the Group's external auditors, ensure Group-wide compliance with IFRS requirements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the Group's financial reporting
Team Collaboration & Additional Responsibilities:
Support the team with your technical expertise and take on additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications
Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally with a specialization in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Law or Auditing
Several years of professional experience in a comparable role or within an auditing company
IFRS qualification and/or knowledge is considered an asset
Open‑minded personality with a collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working in a team
Strong affinity for numbers, analytical thinking and a solution‑oriented approach to work
Very good German language skills are required; business‑fluent English skills
Benefits may vary between VIG companies. Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3 668,49 gross on the basis of full‑time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market‑compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview. This full‑time position is to be filled as soon as possible.
