The Human Resources Department (HRD) of the City of Geneva supports the human resources management of more than 4,000 employees distributed across six departments, covering a wide range of activity areas. This service, made up of around seventy people, provides cross-functional HR services in various fields such as training, occupational health and safety, as well as the promotion of equality and diversity in the workplace. Your mission and responsibilities
- Ensure the administrative follow-up in the absence software, as well as the management, with the required quality and within deadlines, of the process related to accident declarations (check accident declarations and send the related forms, check all related absences).
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of accident file mail (checking and sending medical certificates, various correspondence, statements and payment of daily allowances) and carry out necessary reminders.
- Inform staff members and municipal administration services on questions related to LAA insurance, particularly on insurance coverage and handling of non-standard cases.
- Inform LAA insurers about the status of accident files (resumption of activity, medical certificate).
- Inform services about issues related to the absence software concerning data entry and follow-up as well as error reports.
Your profile
- Hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification. - Have at least 2 to 5 years of professional experience in the administrative field, ideally in a public administration. - Possess good knowledge of the LAA framework (an important asset). - Demonstrate the ability to check documents (medical certificates, forms) and to follow administrative processes. - Have excellent administrative rigour and attention to detail. - Be capable of managing several files simultaneously with strict respect for deadlines. - Have a good sense of priorities and excellent organisational skills. - Show good interpersonal skills while maintaining discretion to ensure confidentiality. - Master common IT tools (Word, Excel, Teams).
