As an institution of the City of Geneva, the Musée Ariana (ARI) – Swiss museum of ceramics and glass – is the only museum in Switzerland entirely dedicated to the arts of fire and one of the most important in Europe in this field. It preserves more than 28,000 works covering over 1,200 years of history, from the 9th century to the present day. At the heart of its public service mission, the museum develops a rich cultural programme and a diverse mediation offer, aiming to make its collections accessible to all, with an inclusive and innovative perspective.
