The Cultural Service (SEC) is the contact point for artists, cultural actors, and institutions in the fields of performing, visual, and digital arts. Its main missions are to support the design and management of municipal cultural stages. It develops partnerships at the regional level. To complete its team, the SEC is looking for a Safety Officer at 80%.Your mission and responsibilities- Assume responsibility for fire prevention and fire safety in SEC buildings (AEAI).- Ensure health and safety protection measures at work as well as physical and mental health safety (ESST).- Ensure at all times compliance with and monitoring of laws, ordinances, and regulations in force in the fields of safety and health at work.- Organize, manage, and steer the safety of events organized by the SEC.- Steer the safety level, make decisions (alert management), and enforce OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) regulations.- Draft correspondence and prepare reports or files for the SEC management.- Lead and direct the personnel of the Safety entity composed of 3 profiles.Profile- Hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in the field of construction or building and the AEAI certification, or be in the process of obtaining it.- Justify at least 5 years of experience in the field of safety, including personnel management.- Possess good knowledge of French, both oral and written.- Demonstrate interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and good resistance to stress.- Demonstrate flexibility and availability for irregular hours (evenings, weekends, and public holidays).- ESST certification and knowledge of the functioning of a public administration constitute assets.As part of its policy of equality between women and men, the City of Geneva wishes to promote diversity in all services.
