The Public Space Service (SEP) is composed of administrative and uniformed staff responsible for managing public spaces within the municipal territory of the City of Geneva. Your mission and responsibilities
- Manage event requests on public property or private locations, in accordance with current laws and regulations, as well as seasonal installations.
- Plan and manage several files simultaneously within deadlines, and make quick and efficient decisions.
- Coordinate and lead meetings including all concerned services and entities.
- Participate in the implementation of projects adopted by the hierarchy and contribute to improving public space management.
Your profile
- Hold a commercial CFC or an equivalent qualification, and have proven and recognised professional experience of 5 years for the position. - Have perfect command of French, both spoken and written, as well as standard IT tools. - Demonstrate rigour, proactivity, initiative, and analytical skills, and show a real capacity for adaptation. - Enjoy teamwork while being able to work autonomously. - Appreciate human contact, know how to maintain good relations with the public by showing tact and diplomacy, have a keen sense of communication, and be able to orient your work in a spirit of public service. - Mastery of English is an asset.
