The Department of Security and Sports (DSSP) consists of a management team and five services (Public Space, Logistics and Events, Municipal Police, Sports and Roads – Clean City) and has more than a thousand collaborators. Your mission and responsibilities
- Assist the Magistrate, management and the Department's services in financial and budgetary management.
- Develop, implement and monitor cross-departmental and departmental management control, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Intelligence (BI).
- Carry out cross-functional support missions delegated by the Presidency and the Department's management in terms of digital transformation of financial tools or financial expertise.
Your profile
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics or an equivalent qualification and have 5 years of professional experience in management control. - Explain and deploy budgetary, financial processes and internal procedures. - Produce structured analyses and write clear, high-quality deliverables from varied sources. - Design and implement control tools and dashboards to analyse data, identify risks and propose corrective actions. - Support the Department’s management and services in implementing budgetary processes and continuously improving practices. - Communicate confidently and competently, demonstrating discretion and professionalism. - Act with rigour, precision and organisational skills. - Manage priorities effectively, taking a step back for thoughtful decisions. - Be able to withstand stress. - Demonstrate excellent analytical and synthesis skills. - Be discreet, tactful and proactive, acting with rigour, precision and organisation. - Work autonomously, but also as part of a team or network. - Show a strong interest in public sector activities and apply good knowledge of the organisation of a Geneva public administration. - Master Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint tools.
