PEDAGOGICAL MANAGER IN THE FIELD OF INTEGRATION at 50%, in the Social Cohesion Service, for the peri

The Social Cohesion Service of the City of Vevey carries out concrete actions aimed at promoting living together and enabling everyone to find their place with respect and dignity. Within this service, the Integration unit develops services that meet the needs of the immigrant population. It notably offers French courses designed to strengthen the autonomy of non-French speakers in their daily lives and to facilitate their integration within the municipality.
Attached to the Integration unit, you deliver French language integration courses and workshops to adult non-French speakers and ensure their pedagogical coordination. In close collaboration with the Integration and Administrative units, you ensure the quality of teaching, its adaptation to the needs of the public, as well as the monitoring of activities. You also contribute to defining pedagogical objectives and evaluating acquired knowledge. In this capacity, you are responsible for the following main tasks among others:
- Deliver semi-intensive courses and conversation workshops in French as a language of integration; - Define objectives and educational programmes in collaboration with the Integration unit; - Design and adapt teaching to the needs and difficulties of participants, respecting fide principles; - Organise level assessments at entry, during training, and at the end of the year; - Ensure monitoring of attendance, topics covered, and results obtained; - Conduct reviews with participants and transmit necessary information for issuing certificates; - Report encountered difficulties and provide data necessary for the preparation of the annual activity report; - Manage teaching materials and equipment within the allocated budget; - Coordinate reception and logistical aspects related to instructors; - Perform other assigned tasks in compliance with procedures and deadlines.
This position requires:
- FSEA adult trainer certificate or equivalent qualification; - Fide certificate as a language trainer in the field of integration; - Proven experience in social and integration fields as well as in adult education; - Strong interest in knowledge transmission and mastery of a modern andragogical approach adapted to a heterogeneous audience; - Sensitivity to multicultural issues and ability to adapt teaching to different audiences; - Organisational skills, autonomy, and ability to collaborate with various interlocutors; - Discretion in handling information; - Excellent command of common IT tools; - Mandatory availability all day Monday and Tuesday afternoon; - Preferred availability Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
