The Energy Service guarantees the distribution of electricity, gas and drinking water in Yverdon-les-Bains, as well as in many neighbouring villages, while managing the public lighting network. Inspired by the 2023 Climate Plan, it places sustainable development at the heart of its projects and is committed to promoting energy efficiency and renewable energies, actively contributing to the energy transition of the entire region. To strengthen its distribution networks department, the Distribution Networks Department is looking for a:
Head of Multi-Fluid Studies and Implementation Unit at 80-100%
Your main tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure the organisation and management of the unit's activities. - Lead, coordinate and guarantee the successful completion of studies and projects related to multi-fluid distribution networks: water, gas, electricity, public lighting, fibre optics as well as related structures. - Ensure monitoring and compliance with investment approvals, budgets and technical, safety and regulatory rules (SIA, VSS) related to the unit. - Ensure the proper execution of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, the production of plans and diagrams of works and their transmission to operations. - Guarantee the link between the asset management process and the implementation processes. - Participate in the preparation of public procurement tenders (AOMP) and ensure the monitoring of subcontracting and partners. - Coordinate the unit's activities with other service units, the City and subsidiary companies (YCAD, SAGENORD), as well as with external partners (engineering offices, companies, DNO, subcontracting civil engineering companies). - Ensure technical, regulatory and normative monitoring, including technological developments (BIM, etc.). - Ensure a management on-call duty according to an established rota.
Your profile
- You hold a HES or EPF engineering degree in civil engineering, or an equivalent qualification. - You have additional training in project management; training in team management is an asset. - Proven experience of at least 5 years in personnel management and multi-fluid construction project management. - Good knowledge of distribution networks (water, gas, electricity, heat) as well as current standards and regulations (SIA, VSS, SVGW, AEAI, ESTI). - Proficiency in common office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and professional software such as AutoCAD. - You demonstrate autonomy, efficiency and initiative, and know how to achieve the objectives set for you. - Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in technical and energy systems, particularly distribution networks. - You are sensitive to public service issues and adhere to its missions and values. - Good knowledge of English is required; some knowledge of German is an asset. - You hold a category B driving licence and demonstrate availability and flexibility in your working hours.
