• Be the sourcing expert for the Logistics category representing a spend in excess of 100m€
• Act as the escalation point for major problems and issues
• In collaboration with stakeholders, build, execute and maintain all category strategies relevant to Logistics
• Support the company’s strategic projects and negotiate the contracts
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure internal customer satisfaction. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Perform supply market analysis and monitors supply markets
• In order to effectively manage the supplier portfolio and improve performance, ensure necessary Procurement KPI’s are in place and monitor them
• Build and maintain the saving pipeline for the category
• Manage supply risk through the identification of internal and external risks and develops mitigation actions

Your profile

• Experience in strategic Logistics Procurement in an international industrial company
• Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, processes and tools
• Experience of strategic sourcing process with a proven capability to analyze and develop strategies through to implementation
• Skills and talent in complex negotiations and networking
• Experience of active leadership of cross-functional project teams across multiple countries in a matrix organization
• Strong change management, risk assessment and mitigation skills
• Capable in decision-making and working with numbers
• Good knowledge of purchasing contract law
