We’re scaling quickly with growing volumes, expanding fleet requirements, and increasing operational complexity, creating an opportunity to shape how a modern, high‑performing logistics function runs.
About the Role This role reports to the Director of Operations and owns end‑to‑end performance across transport and warehouse operations, from scan‑in to dispatch. You’ll lead the warehouse and logistics teams day‑to‑day, manage transport compliance, secure and maintain a Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence, and run a compliant, cost‑effective fleet.
It’s a hands‑on leadership position with real scope to shape systems, improve performance, and build a best‑in‑class operation as we scale.
Getting Started
Build strong relationships with Warehouse Team Leaders and understand how each area operates (Check‑in, Warehouse, Returns, Stock Control, Transport).
Get up to speed with current SOPs, KPIs, and operational rhythms.
Review current fleet setup, transport processes, and Operator’s Licence readiness.
Identify immediate risks across safety, stock integrity, and service delivery—and take action quickly.
Establishing Your Impact
Bring structure and consistency to daily operations across all logistics functions.
Strengthen performance management, clear expectations, regular 1:1s, and measurable KPIs.
Improve stock accuracy, reduce rework, and tighten operational controls.
Build visibility through better reporting, forecasting, and data‑led decision making.
Driving Excellence
Lead a safe, compliant, and high‑performing operation at scale.
Deliver a fully compliant transport function aligned with Operator’s Licence requirements.
Embed continuous improvement across processes, layout, systems, and team capability.
Create a resilient operation with strong succession planning and reduced single points of failure.
Key Responsibilities Build and lead a high‑performing transport and warehouse operation, delivering consistent on‑time inbound and outbound service, maintaining high stock accuracy, achieving strong safety performance, and driving cost‑effective transport operations. Continue to foster continuous improvement across SOP adherence, throughput, and operational efficiency.

Set, track, and report on KPIs across safety, throughput, accuracy, and cost.
Own day‑to‑day operations across Check‑in, Warehouse, Returns, Stock Control, and Transport.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.

Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative actions.
Build strong cross‑functional relationships with Commercial, Marketing, and Inbound teams.
Own budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for transport and warehouse operations.
Produce clear operational reporting with insights, risks, and action plans.
