In this role, you will be responsible for launching and growing our sales activities in the DACH region, with a strong focus on new business development. You’ll work closely with our European sales teams and collaborate with our product and technology experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers.
You will report directly to the VP, Sales DACH and play a key role in shaping Virta’s success in the region.

What You’ll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and educate them on building a successful EV charging business using Virta’s comprehensive platform solution.
- Drive business development and accelerate net sales growth in the DACH market.
- Take full ownership of the sales process—from prospecting to closing deals—while achieving ambitious sales targets.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture new sales opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline with precision, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective deal closures.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, and customer success) to deliver a seamless and engaging customer experience.
- Navigate complex sales cycles with a consultative selling approach, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring
You are a results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in selling complex solutions. You have experience in software or service sales (SaaS) and are comfortable managing multiple sales cycles simultaneously.
You are a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging C-level executives in strategic discussions. You understand the value-based selling approach and have a passion for technology and innovation.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships, manage existing accounts, and close new business opportunities.
- In-depth knowledge of the enterprise and corporate landscape in the DACH region.
- Proven track record of engaging with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex business environments and deliver tailored solutions.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC and SPIN.
- Skilled in leveraging digital sales tools, including HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Cognism.
- Expertise in developing compelling presentations, crafting business proposals, and leading discovery workshops for prospects.
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally as required.
- EU work authorization is required.
