Production Leader in Sachsen

The role:

You will take responsibility for the daily coordination of production across printing, die-cutting and finishing operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting a team of approximately 12+ production employees.
• Maintaining a visible and active presence on the shop floor.
• Coordinating daily production planning and reallocating work when priorities change.
• Monitoring machine uptime and responding to breakdowns.
• Diagnosing straightforward technical issues and coordinating external maintenance support where required.
• Ensuring essential spare parts, inks and production consumables are available.
• Supporting quality documentation, claims records and continuous improvement.
• Helping to maintain strong quality and productivity standards.
• Supporting the onboarding and training of new employees.
• Communicating clearly with the production team and leading by example.

About you:

You are likely to have:

• Around 4–5 years’ experience as a senior printer, shift leader, production supervisor or similar hands-on shop-floor professional.
• Experience working with printing, converting or packaging machinery.
• A practical understanding of machine operation, fault-finding and basic maintenance.
• The confidence to lead an experienced team in a direct, clear and respectful manner.
• A strong interest in understanding how equipment works and resolving problems wherever possible.
