Project description:

A member of the DevOps team responsible for the operation and ongoing development of an open-source cloud platform.

The role serves as a point of contact for product managers, product owners, the operations team, and customers; handles platform configuration; and supports application development and maintenance.

Additionally, the role optimizes development, release, and deployment cycles (automation, scaling, CI/CD) and assists with end-to-end performance testing, resource planning, and security enhancements.
Required Skills:

Kubernetes or comparable container technologies

Scripting with Go, Python, or Bash
-
Automation and automated deployments (Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Helm)

CI/CD in Kubernetes environments and repository management
-
Git automation (GitHub, GitLab) with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD, Linux

Monitoring and visualization (Grafana, Prometheus, Instana)

Platform configuration in the areas of network, application, and security

Agile methodologies and Scrum events

Databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, HANA (desirable)

Streaming and indexing with Kafka and Elasticsearch (desirable)
