The Analytics and Business Operations Associate will support the Viscadia's European and global needs across three areas: Global analytics and project delivery, business development and marketing support, and day‑to‑day Swiss business operations. Primary responsibilities may vary based on business priorities, but are expected to be approximately: Global analytics & project delivery: ~50% Business development & marketing support: ~30% Swiss business operations: ~20% Based in Lucerne, this is a broad, hands‑on role for a professional who combines strong analytical ability with a proactive, well‑organized approach. The incumbent will support global life sciences consulting engagements across forecasting and commercial insights while helping build and operate Viscadia's growing European presence. As part of a lean and growing Swiss team, this role suits a proactive, hands‑on go‑getter who takes ownership, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and thrives with limited oversight in a fast‑moving environment. This position reports directly to the Associate Principal based in Lucerne, who leads Viscadia's presence in the region. Key Responsibilities
Global Analytics & Project Delivery
Work as part of active client engagement teams, supporting the development and maintenance of forecasting and analytics models for client engagements, including data gathering, structuring, and quality checks. Conduct secondary research and synthesize insights on therapeutic areas, disease states, treatment paradigms, competitive landscapes, and pharmaceutical market dynamics into clear, actionable summaries. Build and format analyses, charts, and presentations that translate findings into clear, evidence‑based narratives for client and internal audiences. Support engagement managers and senior leadership on project tasks, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and on‑time delivery. Collaborate with global delivery teams in the United States and India across time zones to provide seamless, round‑the‑clock client support. Business Development & Marketing Support
Research pharmaceutical companies, therapeutic areas, licensing opportunities and strategic accounts to support business development initiatives across Europe. Support the preparation of proposals, pitch materials, case studies, and capability demonstrations. Maintain CRM records and track the pipeline of leads, opportunities, and follow‑ups. Support marketing activities, including content, collateral, conference planning and execution, LinkedIn and digital presence, and webinar coordination. Help organize client meetings, conferences, and regional networking activities. Operations & Administration
Coordinate and support the day‑to‑day operations of the Swiss office, ensuring efficient and reliable running. Support compliance, documentation, and coordination with local authorities and service providers. Maintain organized records and support scheduling, travel, and general administrative needs. Liaise with banks, accountants, legal counsel, government authorities, immigration partners and other external service providers. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Data Analytics or a related quantitative field. Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Data Analytics or a related quantitative field will be preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience in consulting, analytics, forecasting, pharma or life sciences, data, or related environments. Internship experience is valued. Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving capabilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Working familiarity with Python, SQL, VBA, dashboarding tools, or analytics platforms is preferred. Exposure to generative AI and productivity tools to improve research, analysis, presentation development and operational efficiency. Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, forecasting, analytics, or consulting environments. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex analyses clearly. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment while demonstrating initiative and ownership. Self‑starter with a strong work ethic, curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn. German is advantageous but not required for local business development and administration. Authorized to work in Switzerland requiring no visa sponsorships. Employment Terms
Location: Lucerne, Switzerland (On‑site with hybrid working arrangement with an expectation of 3 days regular presence in office). Part‑time 75%, with the possibility of increasing to 100% subject to business needs and individual performance.
