Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Electronic GmbH in Selb is currently seeking applicants for an Engineer IT Service Design & Development (m/f/d).

Job Location: Vishay Electronic GmbH in Selb is the European headquarter and development and production site for passive components. Since 1996 as part of Vishay we have been manufacturing resistors and capacitors. These electronic components are used in medical, entertainment and automotive electronics, among others. With around 900 employees, Vishay plays a key role as one of the most important employers in our region.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for requirement analysis, design and implementation of MES system. Responsible for technical document writing and document management.
• Responsible for maintaining and supporting MES systems, solving key problems and technical issues in the system.
• Support MES System Project, participate in MES system implementation project, interface specification formulation, technical document compilation, etc.
• Collaboration with internal key users, external software vendors and other internal IT groups to implement the new standard MES system.
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit and strong sense of responsibility.

What you will bring along:

• 3-5 years of experience in implementation and operation of MES system.
• Familiar with .NET software development techniques, 2+ years’ experience with C#.
• Familiar with SQL Server database system, with database design and management experience.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of basic networking system knowledge.
• Good at expressing, communicating and coordinating, analyzing and solving problems.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills and working experience in a foreign company.
• Willing to take frequent business trips abroad.
