Job Location:

Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (power MOSFETs) with over 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe, thereby expanding its production capacity in the future.

What you will be doing:

• 
  
• Overall responsibility for Process & Yield Engineering and New Product / Technology Transfer, including leadership and resource management
  
• Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with site and corporate objectives
  
• Drive the strategic advancement of manufacturing technologies (200 mm / 300 mm) to ensure competitiveness and future readiness
  
• Oversee engineering KPIs and continuously improve processes using Lean, SPC, DOE, and DfX methodologies
  
• Lead the introduction of new products and technologies and ensure successful technology transfers and ramp-ups
  
• Collaborate closely with R&D to integrate new technologies and enhance manufacturing processes
  
• Ensure quality and compliance (IATF, VDA, ISO) and lead customer audits
  
• Own budget, investments, and cost optimization initiatives
  
• Develop and lead a high-performing engineering organization
  

What you will bring along:

• 
  
• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
  
• 10+ years of leadership experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication (200 mm and 300 mm)
  
• Experience in process engineering, yield improvement, and new product introduction
  
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing
  
• Demonstrated success in leading large engineering teams and managing complex projects
  
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  
• Fluent in English and German language
