Overview

Severa is the market-leading Saa S solution for professional services organisations, serving around 50,000 users in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands.

With Severa our customers can manage projects and resources as well as time tracking and invoicing processes.

Our goal is to grow our presence in the Nordic market and become the most beloved tool for project teams.

We are now looking for a Full-Stack Developer (AI) to lead the development of AI-powered features in our product.

You will play a key role in developing AI features for our product, working across the full stack from concept and UI to backend APIs and automation.

You’ll plan and implement the right approach for each use case, whether that’s an LLM-powered feature, a predictive ML model, or something entirely new.

This includes collaborating closely with our product management team on roadmap planning and technical decisions, as well as ensuring the features you build run reliably in production.

Looking ahead, we’re also building out a Data Lake, which will open up exciting new possibilities for the AI/ML services you can build on top of it.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered features across the full stack, from concept and UI to backend APIs and automation.
• Plan and implement approaches for each use case, including LLM-powered features and predictive ML models.
• Collaborate with product management on roadmap planning and technical decisions.
• Ensure features run reliably in production and contribute to the AI-first development lifecycle.
• Participate in building the Data Lake and leveraging AI/ML services built on top of it.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in software development with a track record of shipping full-stack projects into production.
• Solid hands-on experience with C# . NET and React / Type Script.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-powered features to production using LLM platforms (e. g., Azure AI Foundry or Azure Open AI or equivalent).
• Experience with an AI-first development pipeline and agentic coding tools (e. g., Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Excellent English communication skills.

• Engineering prompts and evaluating LLM output quality and reliability in production.
• Working with tool-calling and agent architectures (e. g., MCP or similar).
• Implementing vector databases and RAG patterns.
• Managing AI costs and latency (model selection, caching, token optimization).
• Exposure to data lake / data platform technologies (e. g., Microsoft Fabric).
• Setting up AI observability to track model performance, drift, or usage in production.

In this role, you will

• Drive AI Innovation: take features from discovery to deployment using our AI-aided development pipeline with ownership over how AI solves customer problems.
• Work in a Cohesive, Autonomous

Environment: join a small cross-functional feature team (3-5 people) with end-to-end technical responsibility, supported by a Team Manager and Product Owner.

• Collaborate and Grow: participate in our AI Champions network and developer guilds within a culture of autonomy and continuous improvement as we scale across the Nordics.

Our product development organization consists of ~30 people.

You will belong to a feature team, collaborating with other cross-functional teams to translate product plans into capability features.

Our recruitment process includes two interview rounds.

This is a new position, and salary range depends on relevant experience and seniority; we welcome your salary expectations.
