Mission of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to be a customer interface for regional OEMs, and create a product/technology roadmap and new opportunities for Display Production.

Responsibilities:

• Grow product line profitably, develop customer relationships, and drive new technology/new product development projects;
• Development of business with regional OEMs for Display application;
• Work with cross-functional teams to help develop the product roadmap, make design recommendations, and provide cost guidance to achieve cost competitiveness;
• Engage with key customer networks in the region to understand the needs of and provide solutions for targeted businesses;
• Analyze the technical capability and competitiveness;
• Create Visteon Display Product Roadmap;
• Engage with key suppliers especially LCD, LCD drivers, touch panels, cover lenses, and related technology providers to have a competitive edge in the market and be a market-recognized technology leader;
• Participate and communicate the global product segment and business strategies, including growth and profitability objectives;
• Engage with the Customer Business Groups to understand their needs and provide solutions for targeted businesses, develop product value propositions; review all program quote activity;
• Identify technology- and business needs for display products;
• Establish and support sales and profitability goals for regional OEMs;
• Represent and support global decisions and projects (incl. platforms);
• Understand and apply competitive intelligence and market share data for mid- and high segments in the Display market;
• Define product segment and technology roadmaps;
• Engage with Engineering and suppliers to define technology roadmap requirements;
• Define future technologies and timing for the different market segments.

• Defining technology roadmap requirements by engaging with engineering and suppliers;

• Creation of Visteon Display Roadmap;
• Engaging with Display Suppliers to drive market-recognized technology;
• Engaging with Customer Business Groups to understand their needs and provide targeted solutions;
• Developing product value propositions;
• Support sales and profitability goals for the region.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• Display technology knowledge;
• Minimum of 5+ years in Automotive;
• Mature network across engineering decision-makers at OEMs;
• Interface experience with OEMs and suppliers;
• Engineering Degree or equivalent technical experience;
• Display and LCD technology knowledge (Key Optical performance and manufacturing of TFT, LTPS, OLED manufacturing processes, etc.;
• Architecture knowledge for display and DI productions;
• A native German speaker is a must.
