The Project Director acts as an entrepreneur in large automotive projects, with accountability starting from the acquisition phase and concluding with the end of production.

As the head of a large project team within Electrification (High Voltage Box), which includes all disciplines required for professional project execution, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the overall project success in terms of quality, timing, and profitability in an innovative and challenging project environment.
• Your success in project execution is strongly supported by dedicated accountabilities of the disciplines allocated to your project organization.
• A high team spirit and the flexibility of a matrix organization enable you to continuously optimize and adjust the required team and competence structure.
• Active competence management, training opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives are part of our project culture.
• Identification of business opportunities and leading your quote team during the acquisition phase.
• Definition of project objectives, planning the project, and setting up the organization.
• Project execution will be guided by a well-established product life cycle process, ensuring compliance.
• You will confidently apply established project management techniques to lead and steer the project throughout all product development phases.

• University degree in Engineering, Business, or comparable.
• Several years of experience in project management, preferably having launched an automotive product into high-volume production.
• Inspiring leadership skills and experience in leading a large project team.
• Strong financial analysis and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to plan complex and interrelated activities.
• Business fluency in German and English (speak and write).
