h3HSE Manager | Short-term Contract | Pharmaceutical Construction | Switzerland /h3 h3About the role /h3 pOur client is currently looking for an experienced bHSE Manager /b to support a pharmaceutical construction project that is entering the fit-out phase. /p pThe successful candidate will take responsibility for health, safety and environmental oversight across the project, helping to ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with the required site standards and regulations. /p pThis is a short-term assignment running for approximately six weeks through to b30 November /b, making it well suited to an experienced HSE professional who is immediately available and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. /p pA recognised bSUVA qualification /b is required for the position, alongside previous experience working within construction or similarly regulated project environments. Given the requirements of the project and the site team, bGerman language skills are essential /b. /p pThe role requires a strong presence on site, with an expected working pattern of b8 hours per day, 40 hours per week /b. You will work closely with construction management, contractors and other project stakeholders to identify risks, maintain safety standards and support the safe progression of fit-out activities. /p h3Main responsibilities /h3 ul liTake responsibility for HSE management across the pharmaceutical construction fit-out project. /li liProvide visible and proactive health and safety leadership across the site. /li liMonitor construction and fit-out activities to ensure compliance with relevant HSE requirements. /li liCarry out regular site inspections and identify potential hazards, unsafe practices and areas requiring corrective action. /li liSupport the project team in implementing appropriate health, safety and environmental procedures. /li liReview and monitor risk assessments and method statements for ongoing works. /li liEnsure appropriate control measures are in place before and during construction activities. /li liAdvise site management, contractors and workers on HSE requirements and safe working practices. /li liSupport the implementation and monitoring of site-specific HSE plans. /li liInvestigate incidents, near misses and other safety-related events where required. /li liAssist with the identification of root causes and implementation of appropriate corrective and preventative measures. /li liMonitor contractor compliance with site HSE procedures and standards.Support toolbox talks, safety briefings and other HSE communications. /li liMaintain accurate HSE documentation, inspection records and reports. /li liEscalate significant HSE risks and issues to the appropriate project leadership. /li liWork collaboratively with construction managers, contractors, engineers and other site stakeholders. /li liPromote a strong safety culture across the project team. /li liEnsure HSE considerations are incorporated into ongoing fit-out activities and project planning. /li liSupport the project team in maintaining a safe working environment through to completion of the assignment. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liProven experience working as an bHSE Manager /b, HSE Engineer or similar senior health and safety position. /li liPrevious experience within bconstruction /b, ideally including pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments. /li liExperience supporting construction fit-out activities. /li liRecognised bSUVA qualification /b. /li liStrong understanding of construction health and safety requirements. /li liExperience carrying out site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits. /li liExperience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. /li liStrong understanding of safe systems of work and construction site controls. /li liAbility to identify hazards, assess risks and implement appropriate corrective actions. /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills. /li liAbility to work confidently in a site-based environment and engage with stakeholders at all levels. /li libFluent German language skills /b. /li liAbility to commit to 40 hours per week for the duration of the assignment. /li liAvailability for the full assignment through to 30 November. /li /ul h3The offer /h3 ul libPosition: /b HSE Manager /li libLocation: /b Switzerland /li libProject: /b Pharmaceutical construction fit-out /li libContract: /b Short-term contract /li libDuration: /b Approximately 6 weeks /li libEnd date: /b 30 November /li libWorking hours: /b 40 hours per week /li libDaily hours: /b 8 hours per day /li libWorking arrangement: /b Site-based /li libQualification: /b SUVA qualification required /li libLanguage: /b German /li libStart: /b Immediate / ASAP /li /ul pThis is a focused opportunity for an experienced HSE professional to support a pharmaceutical construction project during a key stage of fit-out.
