Job Description:

As a Team Lead at Voi, you\’ll manage a dynamic team of Mechanics, ensuring top-notch service for our users and cities. With a focus on operational excellence, you\’ll oversee vehicle servicing, repairs, transportation, repositioning, and battery swapping. Plus, you\’ll divide your time between leadership duties and getting hands-on with tasks based on business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Help train and lead an in-house hunting team
• Lead the development and improvement of internal and external processes
• Ensure accurate time/task reporting
• Perform or oversee new or one-off tasks as needed
• Manage key metrics and report to stakeholders
• Support, coach, and develop your team
• Manage schedules and shifts, ensuring substitutes when needed
• Report and address accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures
• Assist with repairs alongside the Fleet Specialist team to meet KPIs and prevent backlog

Qualifications

The Mechanics Team Lead should be a high-energy individual with mechanical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. Experience managing teams and working with mechanical tools is essential.

• 2+ years relevant experience, preferably in a high-growth mobility or logistics company
• Previous supervisory experience
• Strong quality control and scaling experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to motivate and share knowledge with team members
• Problem-solving skills and resilience in stressful situations
• Flexible working hours, including nights and weekends
• Mechanical interest and basic mechanical skills
• Fluent in English and German
