As a Sales Manager – Public Sector , you’ll join our B2C team and you’ll be focusing on growing our partnerships with government entities, mostly agencies like the Agentur für Arbeit, and helping our customers transition into employment. This role can be remote from anywhere in Germany.
What you will do:
- You actively approach various funding sources like the Agentur für Arbeit, Job Centers, etc to introduce our training portfolio.
- You will grow our existing portfolio while adding new revenue.
- You will provide guidance and explanation to staff at the Agentur für Arbeit or Job Centers about our training offerings in supported education.
- You will identify market opportunities and keep an eye on the competition.
- You will plan and execute events in collaboration with partners and/or the Agentur für Arbeit.
- You will attend trade shows, association meetings, conferences, and other events for networking and building our reputation.
What you bring:
- You have at least one year of experience dealing with long sales cycles, ideally within the public sector (government, NGOs, etc).
- You can speak German on a native level and know more than a word or two in English.
- You like a good structure to work efficiently and enjoy both phone and face-to-face customer interactions.
- You’re ready to take on responsibility and can organize your workload independently.
- You have an open mind and a positive attitude.
- You’re ok to travel: our customers love to meet in person across Germany.
- You’re the kind of person who calls their Grandma on her birthday.
