Third Party Risk Manager

pJoin the team at the heart of vendor governance and risk management. In this role, you'll oversee third-party assessments, challenge risks, and help strengthen Vontobel’s control environment across the entire vendor lifecycle. /p h3What would your role be? /h3 pAs a Third Party Risk Management Specialist, you will own the execution and ongoing development of Vontobel's Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes. You will work closely with Business Owners, Procurement, Legal, Compliance and Risk functions and be accountable for ensuring that third-party relationships are assessed, documented and monitored in line with internal requirements and regulatory expectations. /p pYour responsibilities include: /p ul liOwning vendor onboarding, due diligence and periodic re-assessment activities from initiation through completion. /li liConducting vendor risk assessments, documenting results and ensuring identified risks and actions are appropriately addressed. /li liMaintaining the vendor inventory and ensuring the completeness, accuracy and quality of third-party data. /li liPlanning, coordinating and completing annual review and continuous monitoring activities. /li liProducing reports, presentations and management information on third-party risks, trends and required actions. /li liManaging TPRM-related governance, audit and regulatory reporting activities. /li liDriving the continuous improvement of TPRM processes, templates and tools. /li liEngaging Business Owners and control functions to ensure assessments, reviews and remediation actions are completed accurately and on time. /li liManaging audit, regulatory and control-related requests concerning third-party risk management. /liliOverseeing TPRM activities throughout the full vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, monitoring, re-assessment and offboarding. /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 ul liBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Risk Management or a related field. /li liFirst professional experience in Procurement, Risk Management, Compliance, Vendor Management or a similar area. /li liInterest in third-party risk management and regulatory topics. /li liStructured and detail-oriented working style. /li liStrong organisational and coordination skills. /li liAbility to collaborate with stakeholders across different functions. /li liGood analytical skills and willingness to learn. /li liExcellent command of English; German is an advantage. /li liAffinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working. /li /ul h3What do we offer? /h3 ul liTop Zurich location with collaboration spaces and free lunch. /li liFriendly, diverse team in an open-office space. /li liAll the latest technology to help you excel and advance. /li liAgile environment in how we think, the way we work and our trust for each other. /li liFlat hierarchy with collaboration at all levels. /li liCampus feeling and a collaborative spirit. /li /ul h3Location Requirement /h3 pThis role is based in Zurich but will move to Baar in 2030, ensuring close alignment with key stakeholders in the business. /p h3Why Vontobel? /h3 pAt Vontobel, you are building better futures for our clients and society, as well as for yourself.
