Job Description

As an Embedded Software Developer on the Firmware Development team, you will make a positive impact by:

• Developing Firmware for IoT microcontrollers with embedded wireless transceivers based on ARM Cortex M3/M4 processor cores.
• Including FW architectural design, coding in C, verification, testing, review and optimization.
• Maintaining and improving FW of released products, supporting production department in case of unexpected problems.
• From time to time: code optimization for size, performance and energy, support during production ramp-up of new products.

Qualifications

Experience :

• 2-3 years in Embedded Software Development or a similar position

Skills :

• Very good knowledge of C required
• Knowledge of C++ and/or C# or Python as well as scripting languages is an advantage
• Familiarity with ARM Cortex architectures
• Familiarity with C++, C#, Python or script languages is a plus

Abilities :

• A technical mindset with proactive, independent, systematic work approach and great attention to detail
• Open, stress-resistant
• Good at changing tasks often
• Understand how to balance the practical and perfection
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to continually learn and improve

Education:

• University degree in software engineering, electronics or comparable
