Job Description
- The Technical Project Manager provides technical expertise by architecting, designing, developing, testing, and implementing innovative solutions for the organization.
- The Technical Project Manager will guide the customer\’s organization to capitalize on the capabilities of the product platform through an understanding of their business needs as per the product roadmap.
- The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions (by means of a Proof of Concept) that drive strategic value and accomplish the customer\’s business objectives using the product platform capabilities and integrated apps.
- The Technical Project Manager enjoys a high degree of autonomy in the organization of his/her mission and business travel.
- The Technical Project Manager uses the tools made available to create ROI calculations.
- The Technical Project Manager supports the commercial process (RFP Negotiation).
- On accounts monitored by a VusionGroup Account Manager, the Technical Project Manager actively collaborates with the VusionGroup Account Manager to define and implement the account strategy together with the BUSales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the architecture and testing of VusionGroup\’s solution meeting and managing the customer expectation.
- Responsible for providing technical guidance toward solutions that leverage VusionGroup\’s platform capabilities to provide strategic value while meeting customer objectives.
- Responsible for providing business guidance through an in-depth understanding of the business processes, strategy, and business objectives as they relate to and can be supported by VusionGroup.
- Responsible for coordinating relevant Proof of Concepts with the relevant internal stakeholders (VusionGroup Account Manager, Store Associates, Project Management, Product Management, Customer Success, etc.).
- Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and motivating various stakeholders (stores and larger organization) at the customer.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Update opportunity information where relevant in VusionGroup\’s CRM and report on a regular basis to direct management.
- To be the primary contact for the partners on operational matters.
- Ability to travel to client sites as required.
Qualifications: Experience
- Successful experience (3 to 5 years) in a similar position as a Solution Engineer in retail, AI, or Computer Vision.
Education:
- Engineering degree (Retail or IT specialization is a plus).
Skills / Abilities:
- Self-starter with a proven track record.
- Excellent relationship skills ranging from store level to company C-level.
- Background in retail.
- Experience with process improvement and inventory control.
- Able to communicate fluently in English in a business setting (verbal & written).
- Another major language is a plus.
