Onsite Laboratory Technician (m/f/d)

No shifts and no weekends. /ph3Who we're looking for: /h3ulliEducation: Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Synthesis Laboratory Technician , or a completed BSc/MSc degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field. /liliExperience in chemical process development and/or peptide or synthetic chemistry is needed. /liliLanguages: Very good English skills, both written and spoken is a must. German or French is an advantage. /liliAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a highly parallelized environment. /liliStrong commitment to quality and efficient working methods. /liliQuick learner with a high willingness to learn about new technologies and software. /liliGood computer and statistical knowledge. /liliKnowledge of behavioral and safety regulations in laboratory environments (Health, Safety, Environment). /liliClear and open communication skills. /liliYou are characterized by a strong service orientation, willingness to learn, curiosity, and openness to new technologies. /liliWe are looking for an open-minded, reliable, flexible, resilient, and self-motivated individual who carries out assigned tasks with the highest level of care, accuracy, and cleanliness. /li /ulh3How you will thrive and make an impact: /h3h3Peptide Synthesis and Sample Production /h3ulliProduction of peptides according to established procedures while complying with applicable quality, safety, and laboratory guidelines. /liliExecution of sample and batch production according to orders, manufacturing instructions, and defined standard operating procedures. /liliProduction of peptides in compliance with applicable quality, safety, and GMP/laboratory regulations. /liliIndependent execution, monitoring, and documentation of synthesis processes. /liliPreparation of buffers, solutions, and mobile phases according to specified requirements. /li /ulh3Laboratory Support and Scientific Services /h3ulliPreparation of buffers, media, and other solutions upon request from internal customers. /liliMaintaining complete, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with applicable requirements. /liliEvaluation and analysis of reports. /liliIndependent study and continuous learning related to new projects, methods, or scientific subject areas. /liliProactive communication and escalation of deviations, issues, or delays to the responsible project stakeholders. /li /ulh3Equipment and Instrument Management (Secondary Responsibilities) /h3ulliPerforming routine inspections and calibrations of laboratory equipment. /liliEnsuring proper and reliable operation of laboratory instruments. /liliActing as System Owner for assigned laboratory equipment. /liliCoordinating maintenance, calibration, and service activities with internal and external contacts. /liliMonitoring maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance requirements are met. /li /ulh3Disclaimer: /h3pThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
