Sales Team Leader Aortic for Germany and Austria (f/m/d)

About the Role: We are looking for a talented Sales Team Leader (f/m/d) to join our Aortic Business in Germany and Austria who will develop our position in the marketplace into a market leader. Working in the field leading our team of Associates while developing the business in their own territory.

This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our facility in Putzbrunn near Munich, Germany, hybrid or fully remote work allowed from your home office in most locations within Germany, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsibility for leading a high performing sales team in charge of Gore’s high quality, innovative Aortic medical device products portfolio, together with running a specific sales territory him/herself.
  2. Develop followership from the team and lead by example, ensuring our sales team has all the tools (physical tools, training, knowledge, and support) necessary to sell in a competitive environment and conduct coaching to support our sales team.
  3. Together with the sales team, develop our position in the marketplace into market leader across our full portfolio of focus products.
  4. Develop sales and ensuring market penetration with the existing business, as well as actively pursuing new customers and developing new opportunities.
  5. Maintain and build strong relationships across our customer base. You will also gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert.
  6. Provide clinical product education and training, and regular involvement in case planning and case support in operating room.
  7. Analyse and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies, and actions according to the business unit guidelines.
  8. Collate and feedback timely market insights to our sales leadership and marketing leadership teams.
  9. Manage sales overhead for the team and drive profitable revenue growth in region.
  10. Attendance of international and regional congresses and implementation of local sales promotion activities.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Experienced in Implantable Medical Device marketplace with a strong passion for team leadership and developing business.
  2. Passionate about medical device sales.
  3. Ability to travel in Germany and Austria to support all Team Members and internationally as required.
  4. Strong commercial skills including the ability to negotiate and influence.
  5. Excellent relationship builder.
  6. Proactive and self-motivated.
  7. Proven ability to prioritize and drive the business to success.
  8. Natural team-playing qualities.
  9. Ability to undertake travel in Germany and Austria and internationally to sales meetings, conferences, and trainings (up to 75%).
  10. Home office in Germany.

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates, with prior appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies and additional documents, from the country in which they are employed.
