For a well-established and growing international B2B company with operations across Europe, we are currently looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Swiss Finance team in Zürich.

What you will do:

• Hands-on support of closings and full accounting cycle
• Support financial processes related to customer incentives and commercial agreements — contribute to margin accuracy and profitability tracking
• Manage accounting and reporting for long-term agreements and contracts
• Prepare and submit Swiss VAT and tax filings
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and transactions
• Track and account for inventory movements
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• Support Swiss statutory audit
• Act as finance business partner for margin- and rebate-related topics — close collaboration with sales and management
• Be the right hand to the Head of Finance — driving process improvements and supporting broader finance projects
• Participate in ad-hoc finance projects as required

Your profile:

• Education in Finance/Accounting, with further qualification (e.g. Swiss Fachausweis or equivalent)
• Several years of experience in full scope 360 degree accounting
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER
• Solid experience with Navision or Microsoft Dynamics
• Familiar with treasury management tools
• Hands-on mentality, structured and independent working style
• Strong process mindset — able to identify and implement improvements
• Fluent in German , very good English (spoken and written)
