Chief Information Security Officer

My client is looking for a CISO/Information Security Specialist. This role includes both strategic and operational tasks, along with acting as the DPO.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement information security strategy.
2. Review and improve security architecture at all locations.
3. Respond to and investigate security incidents in real-time, implementing countermeasures when necessary.
4. Create and maintain response plans for various security risks.
5. Conduct regular information security awareness campaigns and training.
6. Ensure compliance with internal security policies.
7. Advise management and teams on data security matters.
8. Collaborate on IT projects with a focus on data protection.

Requirements

1. Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Informatics.
2. Strong technical knowledge in information security, networks, and cybersecurity.
3. Solid understanding of risk management and data protection regulations.
4. Experience in cybersecurity or information security, preferably in medical technology.
5. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills in German and English.
7. Must be living in Switzerland around Biel/Bienne or willing to relocate.
8. Swiss or European passport is mandatory.
