We are hiring a Lean Director (m./f.).
Scope : Transit Division (passenger rail): $3Bn in Revenue, circa 7,000 people in operations based in 60 sites worldwide.
Location : Gennevilliers (Paris area), Piossasco (Italy), Leipzig (Germany) or Plzen (Czech Republic).
Travel : up to 50%
Who will you be working with?
You will report hierarchically to the VP in charge of Quality, Lean, EHS & Field Services, and dotted line to the VP Continuous Improvement. You will lead a network on the field.
How will you make a difference?
The Lean Director is responsible for leading and implementing lean manufacturing principles and practices to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall performance of the transit operations. This role requires a strong background in lean methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across multiple sites globally.
What do we want to know about you?
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement roles, preferably in small and medium-size series environments;
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing lean initiatives and driving cultural change within a complex, global organization;
- Experience in training and developing employees on lean principles and practices;
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality systems;
- Lean Expertise (Black Belt certification is required);
