Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking for an employee for our headquarter in Langenhagen near Hannover.
What you can expect from us
- Comprehensive design of individual parts, subassemblies, and complete components
- Creation, modification, and validation of CAD drawings and 3D models according to specifications
- Management of bills of materials and product-related documentation
- Active participation in and input on internal CAD guidelines and the document workflow process
- Structuring, managing, and maintaining technical documents in the PDM system
- Collaboration on change and approval processes for products and documents
- Preparation and distribution of structured technical documentation
- Compliance with applicable standards and guidelines for technical documentation and design
- Close collaboration with Development, Production, Purchasing, Service, and Quality Management
- Preparation of development results for an internal presentation of the findings
What characterizes you
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship as a Technical Product Designer (m/f/d), Technical Draftsman (m/f/d), or a comparable technical qualification, preferably supplemented by further training as a Technician (m/f/d) or a college degree
- Several years of professional experience in design and technical documentation is desirable
- Proficiency in using CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks
- Experience working with PDM systems, ideally SolidWorks PDM
- Knowledge of document management as well as change and approval processes
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and creating digital documents and forms
- Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines in the field of design and technical documentation
- Excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
- A structured, independent, and quality-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
