What you can expect from us
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, such as operating instructions and manuals, as well as sales support materials, such as product catalogs, data sheets, brochures, project planning guides, etc., in accordance with defined requirements
- Coordination with the specialist departments involved to record relevant content for the documentation
- User-oriented textual description and graphical representation of complex technical processes and interrelationships
- Timely provision of documents
- Distribution, management and archiving of documents
- Translation management (coordination of translations by service providers) and data transfer to the editorial system
- Technical application support and maintenance of the editorial system
- Development and optimization of processes in collaboration with the team
What characterizes you
- Successfully completed studies in technical editing/communication, comparable training or further education (e.g. tekom certificate) or several years of professional experience in technical documentation
- Professional experience in technical editing an advantage
- Experience in evaluating technical data and translating technical facts into clear formulations
- Knowledge of structuring and standardization (XML standards) as well as common content management systems desirable
- Knowledge of SCHEMA ST4 or a comparable content management system is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Goal-oriented, forward-looking and independent work
- Ability to work well in a team, strong organizational skills, a high degree of initiative, and excellent communication skills
