Overview
In this role you will optimize Walter's global inventory to support service targets and working capital goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Product Management and Finance to monitor inventories, drive KPIs, and implement inventory control programs. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on analysis and change initiatives to improve inventory health and balance. This is a global, results-driven opportunity in a multinational environment with opportunities to influence financial outcomes and cross-border processes.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Oversee global inventory levels and align with Global planning to meet service targets and NWC goals
- Establish and monitor inventory KPIs (Inventory Health, Days in Inventory, Obsolete/Slow-Moving) and improve visibility
- Ensure global quantities align with globalization strategy
- Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with planning, finance, production and sales
- Set performance targets and implement Inventory Control Programs across inventories
- Identify and drive change projects for efficient global inventory control
- Serve as global point of contact for inventory and networking capital (NWC) matters
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years of planning experience (production, purchasing, logistics as an advantage)
- Strong process and project management skills
- Structured, analytical thinking and adaptability
- High independence, responsibility, and team communication
- Business-minded with ability to understand commercial context and impact financial results
- Very good SAP and MS Office skills
- Excellent German and English (written and spoken)
