Manager Engineering Hub Europe (m/f/d) – location flexible in Europe

We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to build and further develop our European Engineering HUB. In this key role, you will drive the delivery of high-class engineered solutions, setting industry standards through innovation, operational excellence, and impactful leadership in a dynamic international environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- A key part of your role will be to build and develop the European Engineering HUB
- You will define roles, responsibilities, and competency models, and establish a scalable and efficient structure aligned with global standards
- A key responsibility will be to manage the project lifecycle from inquiry to implementation while establishing best-in-class project management standards that drive customer satisfaction and business success
- You will ensure alignment with global standards and processes while working closely with other regional hubs and business stakeholders across functions and locations
- You will plan and allocate hub resources, ensure a balanced workload and proactively identify future resource needs while building and strengthening required capabilities
Your Profile:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial/Mechanical), Business, or have equivalent experience
- You have at least 8–10 years of professional experience in Engineering, Sales, or Business Development in the metal cutting industry
- You possess a strong understanding of engineered solutions business and turnkey project-based sales combined with a customer-focus mindset
- You are skilled in delivering high-quality, customer-tailored technical solutions
- With strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills, you energize, empower, and align cross-functional teams while effectively managing complex stakeholder relationships
- You are at good communicator with strong English skills You are willing to travel as needed
