This role sits at the intersection of industrial robotics and software development, allowing you to work with real industrial systems while shaping our NOVA platform. You will support projects from technical concept through to commissioning, ensuring our product meets the practical needs of real-world automation.
Activities
You will be responsible for the setup, commissioning, and operation of internal and customer automation systems. Your responsibilities include:
- Configuring, parameterizing, and commissioning industrial robots from different manufacturers on our shop floor and at customer sites
- Integrating robots, PLCs, and other peripheral devices into an automation environment
- Supporting electrical commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and on-site customer deployments
- Translating customer robotics requirements into NOVA-based software solutions
- Developing project-specific applications, workflows, and functionality using Python
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of industrial robot programming, parameterization, and commissioning
- Practical experience with at least one major robot manufacturer such as KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa, FANUC, or Stäubli
- Experience with industrial automation systems and customer-site commissioning
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming and electrical commissioning
- Good knowledge of Python
- A basic understanding of software architecture and modern development practices
Team
You will join our cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with Software, Product, and Robotics Engineering. You will work with over 100 colleagues in an environment that values knowledge sharing and autonomy.
