To complement our team we are looking for a skilled AI/ML engineer (m/f/x) in our offices Düsseldorf, Berlin or Munich , in the field of Audit & Assurance to join our team as soon as possible. In this business unit, we offer a broad range of services which includes a portfolio of data science methodologies and AI technologies. Our business focuses on holistic and tailor-made solutions for our clients – and not abstract analyses. We cover a wide range of topics when it comes to AI engineering, data analytics such as BI and process mining and advanced machine learning. As a Consultant (m/f/x) in AI/ML Engineering, you will work with a great team of Data Experts who are motivated to improve the quality and accuracy of information and enable businesses to make more specific business decisions. You will work with leading partners across the organization and our clients to support business decisions across multiple industries and build tools to achieve the same. As an AI/ML Engineer (m/f/x), you will assist with the following: Collaborate on the development and maintenance of AI applications. Implement and optimize agentic LLM-based products and RAG frameworks for various use cases. Research and integrate new AI models, prompts, indexing methods, and query flows to enhance existing solutions. Contribute to the creation of multi-lingual knowledge bases, knowledge graphs, and multi-tiered knowledge systems. Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure for AI applications Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of AI systems in development and production environments. Support cross-functional teams (e.g., Advisory, Tax, Legal) in identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions. Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for AI applications. Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML and evaluate their applicability to the organization. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data engineering, or software development. Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with basic software engineering best practices. Experience with LLMs, RAG frameworks, and other generative AI systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. You see the bigger picture and can break down complex topics for a non-technical audience. You work independently and purposefully to deliver high-quality results on time and possess good communication skills in English and in German. This is a plus Experience with knowledge graphs, multi-lingual AI systems, or intelligent document processing. Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services (e.g., container apps, networks, databases). Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Services or other cloud-based AI platforms. Knowledge of data privacy, legal compliance, and AI ethics. Exposure to audit, advisory, or other AI applications is a plus. Experience with ML Ops practices. You will be working with a team of highly skilled and supportive data experts who work with an agile approach in their everyday tasks. Team language is English.
