Watton Hall are partnered with a very exciting research company who are currently creating its own Type 1 Diabetes Research Centre. The Scientific Leader in Type 1 Diabetes will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and scientific integrity of projects related to Type 1 Diabetes as well as establishing a team of scientists into the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and lead a new research group in the field of type 1 diabetes research
- Oversee the planning for Scientific Programs, responsible for the strategic, program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines
- Collaborate with external partners, including academic institutions, industry stakeholders, and funding agencies to advance research initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Endocrinology, Molecular Biology or a related field
- Experience in Type 1 diabetes research is beneficial
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
