$64,300 - $70,300 annually (based on experience, $23.81 to $26.03 per hour)
48-hour work week (8-hours OT per week)

Position Summary Emmet County EMS Paramedics deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered emergency medical care and transportation in the pre‑hospital setting. Paramedics are responsible for maintaining operational readiness, delivering advanced life support care within their scope of licensure, and contributing to a professional, team‑oriented EMS system that serves the community with integrity and compassion.
This position requires strong clinical judgment, professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care and operational excellence.
Required Certifications / Licenses
Current State of Michigan Paramedic License, or ability to obtain prior to start.
Current valid Michigan Vehicle Operator’s License without restrictions, or ability to obtain prior to start.
BLS, ACLS & PALS (recertification training available after hire to be compliant)
Applicants must be 18 years of age and pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
