Supervisor Validation, Testing & Safety – Automotive Interiors (m / f / d) | CAIP Munich
CAIP, a leading manufacturer of high-quality injection‑molded automotive interior components, is expanding its presence in Europe. Our Munich site, close to major automotive hubs, serves as a key innovation and development center.
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor Validation, Testing & Safety – Automotive Interiors (m / f / d) to drive the setup, optimization and advancement of CAE processes at our Munich location.
Your Role
- evaluate validation, testing, safety requirements during RFQ phase for major OEMs; the related interior products include IP, center console, door panel, pillar, trunk trim, side panel
- negotiation of validation and test matrix with customers, present and review results with customers and internal design and manufacturing team
- coordinate all testing and validation in internal and external laboratory (ESP) including all required fixtures, parts and Tier‑n parts
- control the requirements, time milestone and the quality of deliverables at each step
- organize systematic training for the domestic engineering team on European OEM testing, validation and safety requirements
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in testing, validation and safety for European OEMs or Tier‑1 suppliers
- familiar with the main customer requirements and standards, technical requirements and submission standards
- relevant knowledge such as production manufacturing processes, DFM, CAE
- fluent in English and German; Chinese is a plus
- excellent communication and coordination skills, teamwork spirit and ability to cooperate
- experience in managing multinational design teams is preferred
