Job Title: Coating Inspector – Monopiles
Role Overview:
We ARE seeking an experienced Coating Inspector to support coating inspection activities on Monopiles for a project for one of our clients.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Carry out coating inspection activities on Monopiles.
- Perform Paint Thickness Measurements using a DFT device.
- Ensure coating activities meet the required project standards and specifications.
- Report and document coating inspection results.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in coating inspection.
- Previous experience in Offshore Wind is highly preferable.
- Experience working with Monopiles is an advantage.
- FROSIO Level III certification is mandatory.
- Must possess their own DFT device for Paint Thickness Measurement.
- Mandatory requirement: Relevant offshore fabrication and coating inspection experience must be clearly demonstrated on the CV.
- ONLY FOR EU PASSPORT HOLDERS OR VALID GERMANY WORK PERMIT.
Location: Rostock, Germany
Contract: Freelance/Self-Employed
Duration: 01.09.2026 – 01.08.2027
Rotation: 20 days on / 10 days off, with 5 days overlap with reliever
Working Hours: 10 hours per day
