Responsibilities

• Development and execution of the global category strategy in close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive savings, cash targets, and sustainable value creation
• Management and optimization of supplier panels, including contract negotiations, to secure competitive commercial conditions and long‑term partnerships
• Ensuring supply security and mitigating risks by monitoring supplier performance and financial health, as well as proactively managing critical situations (e.g., insolvencies)
• Steering of sourcing activities and identification of cost‑saving opportunities through market analysis, strategic sourcing approaches, and global bundling/auctioning
• Driving compliance, sustainability, and performance transparency, including adherence to corporate standards, data integrity, and continuous performance tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, ideally within the automotive or related industries (e.g., glazing)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate confidently across all organizational levels
• Strategic and analytical mindset paired with business acumen, enabling data‑driven decision‑making and cross‑functional thinking
• Structured, reliable, and results‑oriented working style, combined with strong English language skills (additional languages are a plus)
